What’s in A Name?

Savants,” actually. We know it’s hard to pronounce and even harder to spell, but have no fear: AdSavants is here to help! But what’s a savant and why do we call ourselves that?

According to our friends over at Merriam-Webster, a savant is “a person of profound or extensive learning;  especially : one with detailed knowledge in a specialized field.” That’s a pretty accurate description of who we are, if we do say so ourselves. So what’s in a name?

Advertising Savants” represents a team of passionate individuals who each have specialized knowledge in the field of advertising. From strategic planning and management to creative concepting and execution, we like to think of ourselves as a one-stop shop. We love what we do and we’re constantly inspired to push the boundaries of advertising through what we call fresh thinking . So how do we do it?

Every day, our small but mighty team works hard to create campaigns that connect brands with consumers who value what they have to offer. Sounds simple, right? All in all, this Agency knows how to pack a punch when it comes to campaign strategy and creative execution. We consider ourselves to have BIG agency smarts with a small agency spirit. Without our team of specialized advertising experts, we wouldn’t have spent over 25 years creating and serving our community through meaningful work. Seasonal events, limited-time exhibits, concerts, festivals and special experiences can be huge attendance drivers for attractions. But there’s a difference between simply promoting an event and building a campaign around it. A promotion tells people what’s happening. A campaign makes them care. For zoos, botanical gardens, museums, cultural institutions and other destination-based attractions , that difference matters. The real competition usually isn’t another attraction. It’s everything else competing for someone’s time, attention and wallet. People are deciding between sporting events, movie nights, road trips, backyard barbecues, streaming at home or simply staying in. So attraction marketing has to do more than post dates, ticket links and event details. It has to create anticipation. It has to make the experience feel worth the planning.
